SIYAQ is a Middle East news platform where every headline comes with historical context, source provenance, and deeper research paths. We believe understanding the region requires more than today's news. It requires knowing where you are in history, which sources are shaping the story, and what has already been checked.

How It Works

• Headlines are collected hourly through Cloudflare crawl jobs, with RSS fallback when needed.
• Each headline stores source provenance, including outlet, trust tier, and collection method.
• Article text is summarized into neutral background context and linked to relevant timeline events.
• Related books, papers, and policy resources are surfaced alongside the context panel.
• Matching fact-checks are attached when similar claims have already been reviewed by trusted checkers.

SIYAQ is an independent project. Context and source matching are for educational and research use, and all headline data is based on publicly available reporting.
